“If anyone is thirsty for new life, let them come to Me and drink. Whoever comes to Me will have rivers of Living Water flowing in their soul as the scriptures have promised.” - Jesus (John 7:37-38)
To be rescued from a selfish life, Come to Me
“If anyone wants to walk with Me, they must take up their cross and follow Me. Whoever lives their life selfishly will lose it, but whoever gives their life to Me will find it. - Jesus (Matthew 16:24-25)
Believe the Truth
Jesus is the Son of God who came to save sinful people like you and I. He came to reveal God to us. He came to teach us how to love God and love one another. Most importantly, He came to save us from sin, hell, and Satan's kingdom.
Evil is real. It has wrecked this world, you, and I. Selfishness, pride, jealousy, rebellion, gossip, stealing, lying, addictions - these affect all of us in one way or another. We need forgiveness! We need salvation. That is why Jesus came. Only a fool says, "I don't need Jesus".
Jesus' death was God's plan from the beginning. He is the payment for our sin. The Romans thought they were just crucifying an offensive street preacher, but the death of the Son of God was an eternal sacrifice for the sins of the world. Jesus willingly died for us so we could be forgiven and set free. This is the ultimate evidence of God's love for you!
Jesus paid
for my sin!
God loves me!
"God demonstrates His love through this: While we were rebellious sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
After Jesus died He was buried in a tomb, but three days later He rose from the dead. This truth sets Christianity apart from all other religions. Don't be surprised! Do you think the creator of life could be conquered by death? Jesus has resurrection power. He conquered death and He is able to raise your broken life from the ashes. He is the risen, living Savior who is able to save all who come to Him.
After His resurrection, He walked on the earth for 40 days, teaching His disciples and appearing to hundreds of His followers. At the end of the 40 days, He ascended into heaven to be seated at God's right hand. He is Lord over all. He commands all people to repent and be "born again".
Jesus is the Savior, given for the world. Have you come to Him? He is Lord over all. Have you chosen to follow Him?
"Very truly I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again." - Jesus (John 3:3)
Come to Him
Have you come to Jesus to receive salvation and forgiveness? You must! Don't you know that faith without action is dead faith? How can you say "I believe in Jesus" if you haven't chosen to follow Him... if you haven't called out to Him to save you and forgive you?
- Salvation is offered to all, but only those who come to Him will receive it.
- Forgiveness is free, but only those who call out to Jesus will get it.
- Eternal life is real, but only those who follow Him will experience it.
You must come to Him! Read these two promises from Jesus:
"I will never turn away the person who comes to me."
- Jesus (John 6:37)
"Everyone who calls on the Lord will be saved."
- Romans 10:13
There is no other Savior. You cannot enter through any other door. Only Jesus died for your sin. Only Jesus has resurrection power to raise your life from the ashes and heal your broken soul. Give Him your life. Follow Him. Come to Him today... right now... to obtain salvation and forgiveness. He is a merciful Savior. He will receive you.
You can come to Jesus by calling out to Him. Pray to Him sincerely. If you don't know exactly what to say, you can use these words:
Dear Jesus, right now I come to you. I believe in you and I need you. I am a sinner. I have done many bad things and I need your forgiveness. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Jesus, please save me. Please forgive me for my sins. I receive you and I give you my life. Please help me to follow you. You promise that you won't turn me away, so I trust you. Thank you for saving me! Amen.
Congratulations! Jesus always keeps His promises!
Follow Him
Coming to Jesus is the beginning of a new life. As the power of this new life begins to work inside of you, things will begin to change. Behaviors, actions, words, and feelings will begin to change. This is the resurrection power of Jesus working inside of you.
As someone who has been "born again", you have a responsibility to follow Jesus as best as you can. You won't be perfect. You will mess up and fail sometimes. You will sin. When this happens, run back to Jesus and ask for His forgiveness and help. He is merciful.
This is a summarized list to help you start your journey.
1.) Get a Bible. Get a modern translation that's easy to read. Start reading in the New Testament. The most important thing you can read are the four gospels at the beginning of the New Testament - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. After this, read the rest of the New Testament. It will teach you how to follow Jesus.
2.) Start praying to Jesus everyday. It may seem awkward at first, but it will become natural. Seek His help in all things. Seek His forgiveness when you sin. Seek His wisdom when you don't know what to do. He is your friend. Always keep coming back to Jesus. You won't find life anywhere else.
3.) Find other Christians and spend time with them. Church, Bible studies, prayer groups, community service groups, etc. These are all great ways to fellowship with other Jesus followers. Once you find a group you like, it will help strengthen your faith.
4.) Get baptized. This is very important. This is an outward declaration that you now belong to Jesus. The waters of baptism signify that your sins have been washed away and you are now a new person because of Jesus.
5.) Tell others about Jesus. Just like this website helped you find Jesus, you must help others find Jesus. This is one of the main jobs that Jesus gives His followers!
6.) Continually ask God for more of His Holy Spirit. When you first came to Jesus, the Holy Spirit automatically came inside of you... but you can ask for more! The apostle Paul commands us to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus told us to pray and ask for more of the Spirit (Luke 11:13). The Holy Spirit is God with us.
